- Two Semesters of Biology: BI 107 & BI 108
- Three Semester of Chemistry (General & Organic): CH 125 or CH 126 (requires placement or completion of CH 115), CH 221, & CH 222
- One to Two Semesters of Biochemistry: CH 341 with CH 342 recommended
- One Additional Semester of Biology: Often BI 246 (check with schools applying to)
- One Semester of Statistics: BI 235, MS 104, MS 204, or PS 202
- One Semester of Psychology: PS 101
- One or Two Semesters of Social Science: SO 101 and or EC 103 (select schools require the latter)
- Two Semesters of English/Writing Intensive Courses: EN 105 or EN 110, and an additional English or Writing Intensive course.

required for admission to the graduate programs):
- Two Semesters of Biology: BI 107 and BI 108
- One to Two Semesters of Genetics for STEM Majors (note - sometimes Human Genetics is specified): BI 245 and maybe BI 345
- Three Semesters of Chemistry: CH 125 or 126, CH 221, and CH 222 (note - CH 125 or
126 requires completion of CH 115 or placement)
- One Semester of Biochemistry (note - some programs specificy with an Organic Chemistry pre-requisite): CH 341
- One Semester of Psychology: PS 101
- One Semester of Statistics: MS 204 or BI 235
- Additional courses sometimes suggested or required by a subset of programs: BI 242
or BI 247; PS 206; PS 214; embryology (may need to take at another institution if
required); or courses in the social sciences (sociology or anthropology), public health,
& ethics. If possible, additional coursework is often encouraged in genetics, genomics,
statistics, and bioinformatics.
