Upcoming Academic Sessions
Introduction to Stata Workshop
Wed 3/26, 7-9pm, Econ Lounge
This session will provide a beginner-friendly introduction to STATA which is very useful down the line in Economics (especially EC 235 which they will have to learn anyway). We will cover essential commands for data manipulation, summary statistics, and basic regression analysis. This workshop is friendly to all levels of skill so it will be very inclusive for all Econ students
Midterm Review for Intro Classes
Sun 3/30, 7-9pm, Econ Lounge
A focused review session for students taking Intro to Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. We will go over key concepts, solve sample problems, and address common mistakes. Students are encouraged to bring their own questions and topics on which they need clarification. We will ask professors beforehand to give us details on which topics students are struggling with and need revision

Major: Economics and History
½ûÂþÌìÌà me: I am from Uzbekistan. I love playing soccer and skiing. I also enjoy chess, listening to music, and watching movies and TV shows.
Why PAC?: I want to become a PAC because I truly enjoy helping others. I’ve always found it rewarding to help other students understand difficult concepts and develop confidence in their abilities.
Favorite class and why?: My favorite class has been Statistical Methods with Professor Tiwari. This course allowed me to develop valuable skills in working with statistical data, which I’ve been able to apply across other subjects and projects. The practical focus of the class made it both challenging and rewarding.
Academic Advice: Be curious and proactive in your learning. Don’t hesitate to reach out for help, whether it’s through PAC, office hours, or study groups. Take classes that challenge you—you’ll be surprised at how much you grow academically and personally when you step out of your comfort zone.

½ûÂþÌìÌà me: I am from New Jersey. I enjoy chess and playing pickup soccer and basketball.
Why PAC?: I found it useful to attend PAC sessions to discuss confusing problems or concepts to better understand them. I hope to offer the same opportunity to other students.
Favorite Class: Statistical Methods with Professor Tiwari. It was a great introduction to the empirical side of economics.
Academic Advice: Practice, practice, practice! Working through a variety of different practice problems can help solidify your understanding of the material.

½ûÂþÌìÌà me: I am from Vietnam. I love playing sports and watching movies.
Why PAC?: PAC has helped me so much over the course of my college experience, and I am inspired to help other students the same way PAC has helped me in the past.
Favorite Class: I will have to say Statistical Methods with Professor Tiwari. Even though that class has a decent amount of workload, it ultimately felt very rewarding towards the end.
Academic Advice: Do not hesitate to ask for help! We all learn from one another and it is curiosity and determination that helps us overcome every obstacle in life.
