Graduation - Checkpoints Points to Remember Each Semester
Seniors
Fall Term
- Degree Audits: are available online to students anytime. Please review the audit with your advisor and address missing requirements. Inform the Registrar's Office of any discrepancies.
- Declaration of Major/Minor/Change: Seniors must be fully and correctly declared at this time.
- Transcripts: All official transcripts for coursework taken away from Skidmore should be sent to the Registrar's Office ASAP.
- Spring Term Registration: Seniors will register for their final semester in November. Please review degree audit carefully with your advisor before registering for the spring term. Be sure to make any registration changes during the drop/add period.
Spring Term
- Degree Audits: Again, please review degree audit with your advisor and address all missing requirements. Inform the Registrar's Office of any discrepancies. Be sure to make any appropriate registration changes during the drop/add period.
- Application for Graduation: Seniors must complete Graduation and Diploma Application and will be notified via email once the link becomes active.

Juniors
Fall Term
- Degree Audits: are available online to students anytime. Juniors should review their degree audit with their advisor prior to registration in November.
Spring Term
- Applied Quantitative Reasoning: must be completed by the end of the junior year.
- Degree Audits: are available online to students anytime. Juniors should review their degree audit with their advisor prior to registration in April.
Sophomores
Fall Term
- Declaration of Major: Sophomores should begin the process of declaring a major.
- Degree Audits: are available online to students anytime. Sophomores should review their degree audit with their advisor prior to registration in November.
Spring Term
- Declaration of Major: Sophomores must have their major declared. If there is no Declaration of Major form on file, your will not be allowed to register for fall.
- Expository Writing: must be completed by the end of the sophomore year.
- Degree Audits: are available online to students anytime. Sophomores should review their degree audit with their advisor prior to registration in April.
