ϳܱٵ岵’s is a college admission and scholarship process that provides selected and matched high-achieving, low-income students early admission to QuestBridge partner institutions and a Match Scholarship (guaranteed, full four-year scholarship). In late summer/early fall, students submit a QuestBridge application and then later rank a list of up to 15 partner institutions. Students are later “matched” (admitted early and with the aforementioned Match Scholarship) to the college that appears highest on their list that also wants to match with them. On December 1, students are notified if they “matched” with an institution. Unmatched students can still pursue alternative admission, using the Questbridge application, to institutions on their match list.

You can always visit the webpage but know that the organization seeks high school seniors who have, “shown outstanding academic ability despite financial challenges.” You must graduate from high school during or before the summer that you plan to enroll as a first-year student. Any student may apply, regardless of citizenship, so long as they are attending a high school that is within the United States. For specific details on the level of academic achievement that makes QuestBridge applicants successful in the match process, please visit the website.

Yes, finalists in the QuestBridge Match typically come from households earning less than $65,000 annually (for a household of four) with minimal assets. Though this isn’t a cut-off, QuestBridge asks students to review their before determining if they are eligible.

Starting in late summer, students can start their QuestBridge application, which is due in late September. If you rank institutions, your list is due mid-October and Finalists will be informed shortly thereafter if they will move forward in the Match process. Read more about the QuestBridge application process.

Finalists and Non-Finalists in the Match can still apply to Skidmore through QuestBridge. Skidmore will reach out to all non-Match students and let them know the next steps.
