Skidmore College鈥檚 Burgess Caf茅 team recently earned the caf茅 its fifth consecutive Best of Saratoga Springs award from Saratoga Today and qualified it for the 2023 Saratoga Springs Business Hall of Fame. Paul Arciero, professor of human physiological sciences, was quoted by on how the benefits of walking 8,000 steps just one to two days a week has been linked to significant health benefits. He was also regarding the best time to go to the gym.

Ellie Runiewicz 鈥24 on the physiology of Atlantic salmon at the recent American Physiology Summit
conference in Long Beach, California.
Marketa Halova Wolfe, associate professor of economics, published the article 鈥溾 in the Eastern Economics Journal.
Rebecca Johnson, professor and chair of the Psychology Department, published a paper with Megan Wootten 鈥20, Abby Spear 鈥23, and Ashley Smolensky 鈥23 on "," in the Journal of Psycholinguistic Research.
Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor of education studies, co-presented the paper "Fifth Graders as Disruptors: Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy in the Fantasy Writers Workshop" at the American Education Research Association conference on April 16 in Chicago.
