COVID-19 reminders
As spring break approaches, Skidmore encourages all to take steps to help keep our community's COVID-19 numbers low. Please consider wearing a mask in situations where transmission may be more likely. If you develop symptoms, please test and wear a mask while symptoms persist. If you test positive while away, you must isolate for five days before returning to campus. Students may pick up free rapid tests from Campus Safety and the Case Center Information Desk for testing during break. Employees may receive four free rapid tests per household through ; MVP also covers the cost of tests. The latest guidance and other updates are available on Skidmore’s and Skidmore’s .
President’s office hours
President Conner will hold open office hours from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, and from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute, in-person appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order they are received.
Parking during spring break
Students leaving a vehicle on campus during the spring break period must complete a vehicle waiver and park their vehicle in the lower level of Northwoods Parking Lot. Vehicles left in unapproved locations are subject to being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. For more information, contact Campus Safety.
Summer course registration is now open
Skidmore students may register for in-person and online courses offered during three summer sessions to fit their schedule, location, and time zone. Visit the for the course list, dates, and cost. Visit for the schedule and registration.
Event Management System (EMS) training available
The Scheduling Office will be offering one-on-one training to employees and students who may need help with using EMS. For more information, contact Megan Bove.
Senior Week housing
Departments can sponsor non-graduating students (first-year students, sophomores, and juniors students) to remain on campus from Friday, May 12, through Sunday, May 22. Students will need to specify their reason for remaining on campus, such as participation in an athletic team or employment. For more information, contact Residential Life by May 1.
Frank Moscowitz joins Arthur Zankel Music Center
Frank Moscowitz joined Skidmore on Feb. 9 as technical director of the Arthur Zankel Music Center. He will oversee the production logistics for all concerts and events, and drive innovation to ensure Zankel’s technological infrastructure remains state-of-the-art.
Skidmore Shop
The Skidmore Shop will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., during spring break.
